Scrapbook of programs from classical musical concerts, operas, operettas and a few theatrical plays, performed in the Boston area, the bulk of which date from 1901 and 1904. Some accompanied by newspaper clippings of reviews and/or biographical profiles of performers. Performers include Handel and Haydn Society, Boston Symphony Orchestra, and many touring musicians and vocalists of the era. Venues include Symphony Hall, Jordan Hall, Chickering Hall, Tremont Theatre, Steinert Hall, and a number of Boston area churches.
